Letter from bus driver on Eco-Eco Week Field Trip

On Saturday, Feb 24, 2007, I had the pleasure of driving the Boys & Girls Clubs of El  Campo and Palacios for The Tres Palacios Watershed Cleanup. We were joined by Tidehaven High School and Tidehaven Intermediate School. These boys & girls are members of the Gulf of Mexico Foundation's Science & Spanish Club Network, coordinated by Richard Gonzales. These Boys and Girls and their adult leaders cleaned up trash and litter in three trash hot spots:

  1. FM1862 and FM616 at Blessing
  2. Old Bay City Highway 35 underpass CR442 & HWY 71
  3. at the "Welcome To El Campo" sign on HWY 59, behind the Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

I would like to take this time to commend and thank those boys and girls and their leaders for the wonderful job that they did and are doing for the ecology in our small place of this big country, the USA.
