Dr. Elizabeth Heise, left, a marine geologist who is doing research on the sediments at Bahia Grande, shows John Wallace of US Fish & Wildlife Service a table of Gulf cordgrass seedlings that are thriving in the newly renovated greenhouse. In addition to teaching geology courses at UTB/TSC, Dr. Heise also works with the Jason Project, which was responsible for setting up the growing tables and doing most of the plantings in the greenhouse.
