The Gulf of Mexico Foundation has received millions of dollars in funding from Transocean, the Economic Development Administration and others to build and establish the Gulf of Mexico Habitat Restoration Technology Training Center (HRTTC) in Galveston, Texas. The state-of-the-art facility will function as a center for training, technical assistance and outreach for coastal restoration in the Gulf of Mexico region.
